CORROSION EXPERTS

29.11.2022 Platform for the industry: Dörken Days 2022 "very well received".

On 17 November, it was time for the annual Dörken Days. This year, around 150 participants came to Königswinter to exchange ideas with industry representatives and to learn about the latest news from Dörken.

The Dörken Days 2022 had plenty to offer time and again. The programme included a variety of presentations on a wide range of topics related to corrosion protection. The topics of sustainability and innovations were particularly in focus. For example, Product Engineer Markus Nowak gave a presentation titled "Dörken Sustainability: YESTERDAY // TODAY // TOMORROW". Christos Tselebidis, Vice President Sales Industrial Coatings, spoke together with Marcel Roth, Head of Research & Development, about "Competitive advantage through Innovation: Strategy in R&D @ Dörken Coatings".

Networking in an international environment

Not only speakers from within the company took the stage, but also clients and partners. For the first time, the entire Dörken Days took place in English. In addition to a large number of attendees from German-speaking countries, a similar number of international guests were also present.

After the busy agenda throughout the day, all participants enjoyed a networking dinner together in the evening, where they could exchange ideas about what they had heard and seen.

Positive feedback from the market

"We are very pleased with the great response to the Dörken Days 2022," summarises Gerhard Reusmann, CTO and COO of Dörken Coatings. "It is great to see that the interesting technical presentations in Königswinter have opened up new perspectives from the market and sparked discussions. Thank you to all speakers for their presentations and to all participants for their great interest!" Christos Tselebidis adds: "What feedback I have received so far makes us very happy. It's great that the format continues to be very well received. In personal conversations and via a feedback form, we continue to gather impressions of what our partners need from us and how we can achieve even more together."

An edition of the Dörken Days is of course also planned for next year. The organisation team is already working on the planning for 2023.
