    Black, non-combustible, breathable and permanently UV-resistant facade membrane for use in multi-storey buildings.

    The durable and robust DELTA®-FASSADE FIREPROTECT A2 façade membrane offers maximum safety for façades of high-rise buildings and multi-storey / larger buildings with increased fire protection requirements. The non-combustible membrane fulfils the requirements of Euro fire class A2-s1,d0 and thus makes an important contribution to preventive fire protection. The spread of flames is made more difficult, residential buildings and their occupants are protected.

    Advantages

    • High fire safety in buildings
      The Euro fire class A2-s1,d0 of DELTA®-FASSADE FIREPROTECT A2 significantly impedes the spread of flames, reduces the risk of flashover between storeys and the probability of fire and smoke entering living spaces. This means noticeably greater protection for the property and therefore greater safety for residents and users.
    • Wide range of applications
      The use of DELTA®-FASSADE FIREPROTECT A2 enables the planning and construction of façades with higher fire protection requirements, for example in high-rise or public buildings.
    • Long-term protection of the outer skin of the façade
      The membrane combines high protection against moisture and wind (tested airtightness) for permanently dry thermal insulation and optimum energy efficiency of the façade.
    • Vapour permeability
      The Sd value of just 0.06 m ensures a very high vapour diffusion capacity. Building moisture and condensation that has formed in the construction can thus dry out again quickly.
    • Permanently UV-stable 
      DELTA®-FASSADE FIREPROTECT A2 is permanently UV-stable thanks to its special coating. This means that the membrane can be used behind ventilated façade cladding with open joints and also be exposed to UV light for up to 16 weeks during the construction phase.

    Application

    DELTA®-FASSADE FIREPROTECT A2 is equally suitable for metal or wooden substructures for façade cladding made of different materials and offers reliable protection of the thermal insulation against wind and moisture. The membrane can be used behind ventilated façade cladding with closed or open joints (maximum width 20 mm, maximum open area 20% of the surface).
