30.08.2022 DÖRKEN at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2022

The WindEnergy Hamburg is the meeting place for all experts in the onshore and offshore wind industry. From 27 to 30 September 2022 the fair will open its doors to all interested visitors. 1,400 exhibitors from the international wind energy branch are represented at the WindEnergy Hamburg. They are drawn from throughout the wind energy value chain and make the event the central event of the year for the sector.

DÖRKEN Coatings is also participating of course, and can be found in Hall B7 on stand 223. Our colleagues René Rother, Key Account Manager Industrial, and Klaus Gradtke, Key Account Manager Industries, will be on hand to answer any questions on the subject of Functional Surfaces and Corrosion Protection.

The WindEnergy Hamburg also features a comprehensive support programme. Numerous papers by experts on various focal points await interested visitors. Issues this year include Smart Energy, Increasing Cost Efficiency, Winning Tenders and Mastering the Energy Transition. René Rother of DÖRKEN Coatings will also be speaking at the fair. At 2 pm on 28 September he will be presenting a paper in the Speakers‘ Corner on how to make hot-dip galvanised fittings even better.

In the scope of the three-day event exhibitors and visitors also have the opportunity for intensive networking and making contacts. In addition to the papers presented, conferences and workshops will also facilitate the exchange of knowledge and discourse.

The fair is usually held every two years but had to take a break in 2020 due to covid. The last event, in 2018, drew in around 35,000 trade visitors. Exhibitors from 40 countries presented themselves in ten halls. This year the organisers aim to follow on from the previous successes of the leading fair.
