    Already available today: solutions without intentionally added PFAS

    Some DÖRKEN coating solutions are already available today without any intentionally added PFAS. They combine DÖRKEN’s proven performance with a formulation in which PFAS are not used as an intentional component.

    This statement relates exclusively to the products specifically labelled as such and applies in accordance with the current DÖRKEN product specification. It should not be interpreted as a general statement regarding the entire DÖRKEN portfolio.
     

    Proven performance without the intentional addition of PFAS

    The requirements for industrial coating systems are changing. DÖRKEN has already developed solutions for selected products in which PFAS are not intentionally used as a component of the formulation.

    These products have been developed for their respective applications and have been qualified or validated under production conditions, where this is stated in the relevant product information.

    They therefore offer customers a practical way of reviewing their coating systems at an early stage and considering suitable alternatives.

    DELTA-PROTEKT® TC 502 GZ is a water-based, silver topcoat with excellent friction properties for metric components.

    • Ideal friction coefficient properties for metric fasteners
    • Without intentionally added PFAS, chromium compounds and heavy metals
    • High cathodic corrosion protection in combination with a DELTA-PROTEKT® basecoat
    • High process stability
    • Excellent resistance to media and chemicals
    • High mechanical resistance

    DELTA-PROTEKT ® KL 100

    • Standard for fasteners
    • Basecoat with intentionally added PFAS
    • Very good corrosion resistance in outdoor exposure
    • Fulfils the continuous temperature resistance 96 h at 180°C
    • Provides process-safe corrosion protection > 720h in SST (according to ISO 9227-NSS)
    • Development required by can be used for all geometries
    • Good protection against white rust and various (mechanical) damage
    • Free from chromium compounds and heavy metals
